Our FocusUsing the "Creative Curriculum" found in classrooms throughout LHBD, we focus on the basics. For our curriculum, we are typically not as structured as the older programs. Understanding that a one year old is a handful and as a parent you should already know that every plan isn't always flawless. Our DayThroughout our day here in the Toddler Room, we spend most of our time discovering. From play to food to emotions and friends, our teachers make sure they help your lil' ones explore and discover their world in the safest way. We spend lots of time using play as a learning tool to make education entertaining for those young ones. Using creative curriculum, we plan our weeks out in "themes". Understanding that at this age, a simple first snowfall calls for entire day of revamping your lesson. You may forget that to you, a snowfall can be seen as traffic waiting to happen but in the eyes of a toddler, its a wonderful and new experience happening within the walls of their small world.

Our TeachersA team made up of two of our long time teachers, Miss Leylin and Miss Tiffani. These two have become a staple in our early childhood program and have taught many of our lil' ones. The team has created a welcoming and engaging environment and welcome each child with open arms filled with love. Our toddler room has grown which meant we added another full-time teacher! Miss Liz is now the third part to our Toddler Team! The three make up an amazing atmosphere and help our lil' ones to thrive!
